Thailand Princess Bajrakitiyabha, 44-year-old Princess was admitted to a local hospital in the month of Dec-22 in northeastern Nakhon Ratchasima province after she fell unconscious early Wednesday in the park

Bajrakitibha Narendraira Devyawati, Princess of Thailand and eldest daughter of King Maha Vajiralongkorn, has been hospitalized after suffering a heart attack. However, the condition is said to be stable. The Royal Palace has given information in this regard. Princess Bajarkitiyabha, 44, was admitted to a local hospital in northeastern Nakhon Ratchasima province after she fell unconscious early Wednesday.

A statement issued by the Royal Palace said that Princess Vajakitiyabha was airlifted to Bangkok after her condition stabilized to a certain level. The princess is one of the three children of King Vajiralongkorn. She is eligible to the throne according to the 1924 Palace Law of Succession. Princess Bajrakitibha is said to have tripped and fell while jogging with her dogs in Khao Yai National Park.

In the meantime, CPR was administered to her for more than an hour, but Princess Bajrakitibha was of little avail. Also, they are claimed to have been placed on an oxygen machine. FL. Three large military helicopters were also spotted late at earlier night on  Wednesday, returning to Bangkok from Khao Yai. From there, Princess Bajrakitibha was taken to a Bangkok hospital for ECMO treatment. Meanwhile, eyewitnesses saw a hospital helicopter along with two military helicopters.

In her early life, Bajrakitiyabha first attended the Rajini School (Queen’s school) in Bangkok. Bajrakitiyabha finished her secondary education at Chitralada school which was established by her grandfather King Bhumibol Adulyadei on the grounds of the Dusit Palace.  Princess Bajrakitibha was partially educated in Britain before graduating in Thailand with a degree in law and international relations. He later completed his Master of Laws and PhD from Cornell University in New York. In 2012 she was Ambassador of Thailand to Austria and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Vienna. Also, Princess Bajarkitiyabha has also held positions in the Thai legal system. She is the most visibly accomplished of the inner royal circle, with post-graduate degrees in law from two US universities. King Vajiralongkorn has not yet named an heir to the throne, but Princess Bajrakitiyabha is widely viewed as the most suitable successor. She also served Thailand’s ambassador to Austria from 2012 to 2014.

Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha of Thailand was appointed a UN Women National Ambassador to Thailand in September 2008. Her ambassadorship and personal credentials have lent unprecedented visibility to UN Women in Thailand, while uniting multiple stakeholders around the cause of ending violence against women. As a result of a nationwide public awareness drive with her as a central figure, Thailand collected over three million names for UN Women’s global Say NO to Violence against Women campaign.

“I take pride in saying that Thailand’s support to the global UNIFEM [now UN Women] Say NO to Violence against Women Campaign is second to none,” said HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha. “I also note with appreciation the national ownership that has evolved around this process. It is indeed a strong foundation upon which coordinated efforts to end violence against women and girls in Thailand have been and will continue to be built.”

She has initiated a project that aims at addressing the special needs and vulnerabilities of female inmates and their children in correctional facilities. After receiving her J.S.D degree, princess Bajrakitiyabha worked for a year at the Thai Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York City. Before returning to Thailand, She then worked as a prosecuting attorney in the office of the Attorney General in Bangkok.
