Design
Vivo T2 5G has a polycarbonate body, which makes the phone very light. If you take it in hand, it will not feel heavy at all. The weight of the phone is around 172 grams. It is also thinner than the Vivo T1 at 7.8mm. The phone offers a nice in-hand feel with its flat frame design and curved corners. The variant we got is in Nitro Blaze colour, which looks quite premium. If you take it in the sun, then its back changes color when viewed from many angles, which gives the phone a more luxurious look.
Display
Talking about the display, the Vivo T2 5G features a 6.38-inch AMOLED (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with 1300nits of peak brightness. 90Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate makes the phone’s screen smoother. The phone’s display is quite bright, we used it in the sun and saw that we did not face any problem. The fast 90Hz refresh rate of this phone makes scrolling and app switching very smooth.
Camera
The Vivo T2 5G sports a dual camera setup at the back, which includes a 64MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. This Vivo device has a 16MP selfie camera with f / 2.0 aperture on the front. If you click the image in natural light then the phone clicks better shots, as we have clicked the image.
The phone maintains good detailing of the image and clicks images with natural color. Overall, good images come from the back camera of the phone. I was quite disappointed by the 2MP Bokeh sensor of the phone. The company should have done better. Shots taken with the camera at night are below average and lack any detail.
Battery and Charging
Vivo T2 5G houses a 4500mAh battery, which gives decent battery backup. If you are a normal user then you can get 1 day battery life. But if you use this phone for gaming, video streaming, then this phone runs only for 10 to 12 hours. It has been launched with 44W fast charger. It takes about 60 minutes to fully charge the phone, which is quite good.
Processor
Snapdragon 695 chipset is available in Vivo T2 5G phone. Vivo T2 5G in India comes with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and 8GB + 128GB variant. We got 6 GB RAM in the review unit of Vivo T2 5G. I did not face any app crash. The apps in the phone were opening very fast. In this phone, we tried playing both basic and hard games. We did not face any problem in gaming. The phone did heat up a bit.
Budget Phone
If you are looking for a budget smartphone in which you get good camera, good battery backup and good processor, then you can take this phone with your eyes closed. If you just want to get the phone for gaming then I would not recommend it to you. This is the perfect phone for users who watch more videos and use social media more.
